Our goal is to provide a one of the safe and finest quality hunts you have experienced. We are committed to the client’s satisfaction. Making your hunt as memorable and as successful as possible, while ensuring that your stay on the shore is an unforgettable one.

All shots taken will be called by the guide and are of finishing birds only. No sky busting hedge rows here. If you have a dog you would like to bring on the hunt I welcome you to. The only thing I ask is that the dog is steady and has hunted before.

YD Hunting has:

Sea Ducks

Think you are a good shot? You better be. Fast and furious is the only way to describe this. Old squaws, white winged scoters, surf scoters and common scoters are just some of the ducks you will see. We hunt out of boats but make sure you bring lots of shells.

Goose Hunting

Maryland’s famous Canada goose hunting as it is done on the eastern shore. Come and hunt with Zach in various styles as he puts the bird’s right in front of you. YD Hunting offers Goose hunts from stand up field blinds, in-ground pits and layout blinds. YD Hunting leases several farms in the Queen Anne’s and Kent County areas that are known for plentiful supplies of birds.

Duck Hunting

YD Hunting has several ponds that are frequented by Mallards, Wood duck’s, Black duck’s and always has the chance for a teal or two. YD Hunting has an off-shore blind located on the Queen Anne’s side of the Chester River. This blind is at the mouth of the famous Chesapeake Bay and has produced barrel burning diver duck hunts. The off shore blind regularly produces Black Head’s (Blue Bills), Canvasback’s, Buffleheads, and a sea duck or two.

Deer Hunting

These same farms that produce the amazing waterfowl hunting are also the home to herds of white tail deer. There is an abundance of Deer and deer stands on these farms for safe and enjoyable hours in the tree. All deer stands on metal construction two man ladder stands that are approximately 15 feet off the ground. In Maryland it is legal to bait deer. Therefore corn is put out on a regular basis approximately 15 yards from each stand.
